Jay Goulding was a Bristol based artist from Purbeck.
His wooden sculptures and detailed drawings echo organic forms, micro and macroscopic structures, whilst also being influenced by semiotics, cultural mythologies and the relationship between beings. The complex and delicate work involve and engage the viewer, yet remain fresh with each new view.
Jay’s work has been shown in Dorset and Bristol as well as having been selected for national exhibitions.
Inspired by Jay’s wish to see creative communities flourish, a fund is being established in his name, to support creative collaborations and residencies.
Commune, Mythologies and Mother Tongue are available as A1 giclee prints on archival quality paper from the original pen drawings by Jay Goulding.
Unframed: £100. Other sizes available to order e.g. A3 @ £45. Any profit from sales will go towards Jay's fund.
